The "1000 Cuts" blog name comes from the phrase “death by a thousand cuts”. A method of slow torture used back in the good old days.
My use of the "1000 Cuts" blog name alludes to the little unconscious wounds we inflict upon our imagined self.

Monk: Some dude devoted to a teaching prescribed by his order. In this case the order, tradition or lineage of "Mojo".
