The "1000 Cuts" blog name originates from the phrase

“death by a thousand cuts”.

This was a form of torture used in China. More recently the term has been used to describe the slow, almost unnoticeable breakdown of an organization. My use of the "1000 Cuts" blog name alludes to the little unconscious wounds we inflict upon ourselves.

This quote gets at the essence of this blog as well:

“Very often we are our own worst enemy as we foolishly build stumbling blocks on the path that leads to success and happiness.” ~Louis Binstock

The life hack / personal development blogosphere is a valuable resource for undoing and preventing some of the damage we inflict upon ourselves. The intention of this blog is to highlight that resource (and amuse myself).

The tagline:

“hacking life with a dull blade”

MonkMojo is The Dull Blade. He is not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer. Observe as he tries to figure out life.

The name “MonkMojo” is derived simply:

Monk: A man devoted to a discipline prescribed by his order. In this case the order of "Mojo".

+

Mojo: Has several meanings, but in this context it is used as it relates to good vibes.

= MonkMojo, an entity devoted to good vibrations.
Bio:
Age: ageless
Species: Half alien / Half stick man
Address: He's interstellar and transdimensional , but calls Earth home.
Nickname: MoMo
